Absolutely, FH and I used to live there, Love it but for kids not sure how great the school district is

we are not sure either

I heard the elementary schools are good- but the HS isn't

so even if we buy there- about a 50% chance- not many houses on the canal I like that are under a million- lol

so we have time to move again before that or private school

but we love it there

I'm completely biased though, I grew up in Island Park but my family has been in LB forever. I couldn't live anywhere else...look into Island Park and Oceanside too. Island Park goes to West Hempstead HS though and I'm not sure how that distrist is doing anymore. But I believe Oceanside has a pretty good record.
