I got an email from my friend who is in Boston who said he was so excited to come to a 'real Long Island wedding'. HAHAHA I think it is funny how we all have a rep!

It reminds me of when I was in college and would first meet people and they would say 'oh you're from LI, you must be a Biiitch cause LI are so spoiled' How do we get these reps? It always amazed me cause I think of LI as being so little but everyone still has pre-conceived notions about LIers!

I can understand if you were having a wedding on Martha's Vinyard, but Long Island? Weddings in LI (or NY for that matter) are the same as anywhere else, just better!

Please, I'm Puerto Rican from NY with a butt, I get 'oh... just like J-Lo. Did you ride the 6 train too, home to the bronx?' NO I took a damn Taxi! Home to Manhattan (ok now bklyn). Ugh!
