Long Island Hair Salons

Hi ladies,

I am the maid of honor in my friend's wedding and doing some research for fellow bridesmaids!!

Several girls are staying at the Fox Hollow prior to the Woodbury Country Club wedding. They are from out of town and would like to get their hair done at a nearby salon. They are hoping to look beautiful, but at a reasonable price! After pricing out Cactus Salon and Maximus, they found that both places charge $90 (not including a wash and blow!).

Any recommendations for reasonable salons with talented stylists would be much appreciated!

I've heard good things about ID Salon in Syosset (I haven't been there myself though). I just google mapped the location and it is about a mile away from Fox Hollow.

I was just in my best friend's wedding at Fox Hollow and I went to Maximus that morning to get hair and makeup done for $120 which I thought was a really good price considering I'm paying WAY more than that for my girls to get their hair and makeup done at my house for my wedding. You just have to wash your hair the day before. They really do a nice job.

Hey..I've been going to I.d salon for years and they do a great job! They even do make up there.

I've heard good things about ID salon too. there was some place I went to that seemed really nice in Woodbury I only got a facial there but it was also a hair salon. I think it was Madison salon? it's in a shopping center.

Papillon Salon! Awesome hair and makeup.. Barbara does the best curls and theres to really good makeup artists there. Check out their facebook page PapillonSalon its in Huntington five min drive up woodbury road to get to Fox Hollow
