I'm not a mommy or mommy to be...but 3 of my siblings babies were born there! They are great.

From what I hear LIJ is one of the best places around to have a baby. A friend of mine was redirected to this hospital from Southampton Hospital when her doctor discovered a problem with her pregnancy just a few days before delivery. The doctor felt this was the best place on Long Island to deliver a high risk baby.

They have a fantastic NICU and children's hospital - that is why it's a great place to deliver a child.

I have never heard a bad thing about LIJ. I have no experience with them myself, but if I was in a high-risk situation I think that is where I would want to be.
