Long Island Ladies Need Help Dresses

Hello

I am really torn between having a dress made and buying a ready made. I really don't want to spend tons of money. Does anyone know of any really good dress shops in Nassau or even western Suffolk County? Maybe one that sells their sample dresses.. My wedding is in January and a destination wedding. Thanks in advance ladies.
