Long Island salon for hair and makeup

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good salon for hair and makeup that is open on Sundays. I live in Brooklyn but was looking to get everything done out there the day of my wedding. (I'm getting married at Milleridge) I love ambiance in Glen Cove but they are not open on Sundays. Any suggestions?? Thanks

Special Arrangements

Have you talked to them to see if they could make special arrangements for you. Some salons are willing to cater to brides on their special day, like open early, or open on a closed day ... just for the bride, the moms and the girls. Are there people there you especially like? They might be willing to travel to you since it`s an off day for them, and they wouldn`t be splitting the money with the salon.

Ambiance is on Glen Cove road. I am unsure of the phone number off hand. I had my hair and makeup done there in August for my best friends wedding and both came out beautiful. It seemed that all of the hairstylists were doing a beautiful job. The makeup lady is phenominal too but I cannot remember her name....I will find out...

Scissors Salon and Day Spa in Syosset

I don't live to too far from the Milleridge, but I am pretty new to the area. However, we do get the Pennysavers in the mail, and I always notice an ad for bridal/wedding package for hair and nails at a salon in Syosset, not too far from the Milleride. It is called the Scissors Salon and Day Spa. They have all different packages to choose from, but what caught my eye is that they are not too expensive - something like $85 for an updo, manicure and pedicure. They have numerous packages for both brides and bridesmaids. I don't have thier number with me now, but if your interested, let me know and I'll grab the Pennsaver at home tonight and post the number and their specials.

I tried to find the Pennysaver we had, but my FH told me he already put the old newspapers out for recycle, so I can't elaborate on the specials they had listed, but maybe you could call and see what they have to offer. I guess we'll get another one this week, so I'll report back if I see another one. Scissors 20 Cold Spring Road Syosset, NY 11791 516-496-8333 But they are close to the Milleridge. Maybe a 10 minute drive east on Jericho Tpke and then go north on Jackson Avenue.
