DO you know where on the computer you can see what the pay scale is for Long Island teachers?

Thanks

No I don't but it varies between districts and it can vary a lot.

I went to the research area at the library and asked the librarian.

If you go to Newsday.com and type it in the search something will come up... I messed around on it one day and found it....good luck.

Re: Long Island TEachers

I didn't think was a place on the computer to look that stuff up.

I can tell you from experience that public schools pay more than private and they offer tenure.

The pay is higher in Nassau than in Suffolk. And I do believe that there can be anywhere between like a 5-10K difference.

If you want to FM me with more specifics I might be able to help you.
