Did anyone give bottles of LI wines as a favor? I have the names of a few wineries, but just wondering if anyone can tip me off as to price and who they thought was best to deal with. Also, do any of them do half-bottles rather than full bottles?

Re: Long Island Wines at Favors?
Not that I did this, but will recommend these two
Pindar
Duck Walk
Both have web sites and price list... I am sure the more bottles you buy, the better the deal.

We are probably going to go with Pugliese Vineyards, they also have a website and i know they do half bottles. Yummy wine, and beautiful bottles.

Pugliese does half bottles? I didn't know that. Do you have any more info on that?
ETA, I just called and they don't do half bottles. Only full.

Re: Long Island Wines at Favors?
Thanks everyone. I love Pugliesi also, so I am going to call them first. Pindar will probably be cheaper though, so I might wind up going with them. I was thinking if I go with Pindar I would go with the 4 seasons that they have and put one on each table so that our guests can chose which kind of wine they want.

I am using the pindar's summer blush (it will match my colors).
Do a search I know a few girls did LI wines - and got labels printed ect.
They should have a estimate.

I was mistaken about the half bottles
Pugliese does custom full bottles, with your names and wedding dates put directly onto the bottle, right now i think she said they were 76 bucks for a case of 12.(6.33 cents a favor).

Re: Long Island Wines at Favors?
I used Duckwalk - they offer a wedding discount (I called them and the Pindar store in Port jeff that a lot of girls recommended and they came in cheaper for the type of wine I wanted). I did full bottles. I ordered labels on line (www.myownlabels.com) and Duckwalk added them to the bottles for me (in addition to their own labels). The wrap them as well. They were a pleasure to deal with. I just can't remember how much I paid off hand anymore...Even gave me a free wine stopper and big bottle of champagne!
