What are the positives and negatives of each?? My dress kind of flattens me out so I want to make my chest look bigger and of course, my waist smaller.

Re: Long line bra or cups sewn in?
I tried a long line and I felt it made me look HUGE up top and I'm not just talking about the girls. I felt that every bit of fat possible on my body was just sitting on top... VERY unflattering... for ME.
It has worked wonderful for some people, just not me I had cups sewn in and they are fabulous!!!

I tried several lon line bras and could not find one that was the least bit flattering. I am only 125 pounds...but things just bulged out in all the wrong places.

i have tried a billion of those bras and they just dont work
however i have found that a girdle works much better - especially the ones with the bike shorts. . . they suck you in. . . and i always put cups in my dress to give me some boobs. . .
much more comfortable too!
i dont get those long line bras - i only weigh 115 lbs and they give me the worst bumps everywhere!!!! i would much rather wear a girdle!
ETA: did i just admit to wearing a girdle on a public site!! i have been wearing them forever - my mom wears one every single day!!!! and forget it with pregnancy girdles . . . she insists that her daughters wear them from the first day on
