Longline Bra

Have any of you been to Georgettes? If so how was your experience?

WONDERFUL!!!!!!!

The ladies in there are great! I'm VERY modest with nudity (self esteem issues) and not for one second did i feel weird or 'off' about taking off my bra in front of them.

They reminded me of what my grandmothers would be like...if they were still around!

i had the most amazing experience there!!!

i went from a 34 B to a 32 D in minutes!!!! you can not be shy to go in there.. but shes GREAT!!!!! try and get georgette not her partner... i found georgette was much more acurate and knows your body better!

Does anyone know if you can return things there??? I don't know if I am going to have cups sewn in or use a long line (the one I tried on at the bridal place was really tight and yes it was my size and I do not know if I want to wear it all night!) so I hope to be able to buy a bra, bring it to my first fitting and see what the seamstress says - and return if I don't need it.

Good question, I acutally looked at Davids Bridal last night for a longline smoothe bra, they dont' except returns though, so I didn't buy it .They had a bra I loved by Feline, a smoothe white longline -but for $79 I'd rather have one fitted to me.

i dont know about returns you'll have to ask but you wont need to.. you try it on before you leave!!!!

also.. i HIGHLY recommend a long line.. im a pretty tiny girls with tiny boobs.. but when i tell you the long line SMOOTHES EVERYTHING OUT.. and makes you shrink 2 inches.. its totally worth it! all my girls and me wore one and we were all so comfy and it looked GREAT!

The only area I worry about it my tummy, when I sit I have a roll but not so much when I stand up. Does the long line go that far down? (belly button area)

The one I tried on was sooooooo uncomfortable. I do not know if I could stand it all day, which is why I am considered sewing in cups. I would definitely try it on before I left, but if I decided not to use it, I would want to return it ...

I went to Georgettes. She was a lovely, lovely woman, but there was only one brand of longline bra there. one size was 2 big, one 2 small. NO returns only exchanges. So I went to nordstrom, bought a felini longline bra that fit better than the ones at georgette's, same price (about 50) and it is returnable.

I'm sure you could talk to them about returns...they have to have a policy...

The long line bra came down to just above my belly button - i also got STRAP YOU IN panties that helped a LOT!!!!! (i'm NOT a small girl, as you know)

Thanks. Maybe I will just go to Macys or Nordstrom or something like that then if Georgette's does not return ...

Re: Longline Bra

my long line came down to the top of my hips (as did all my girls.. the girls also got the sucker-in shorts and were extremely comfy all day...noone complained) it was great.. got rid of the roll when you sit.. and i made sure it was comfy and fit before i left so i didnt need to return.. good luck!
