Longline Bras, Bustiers, Corsets...

I have a few questions about longlines, bustiers and corsets, torsolettes
first of all, what exactly is the difference between them all?

and did you guys buy yours before trying on dresses, or after you have already picked out your dress? I know alot of places have them to try on with the dresses, and I am plus-sized with big boobs and doubt they'll have plus-sized bras for me to try on.

and how is the sizing..the same as a regular bra?

would it be stupid to order one online without trying them on?

Ok thats about it.. thanks!

I'm not sure about the difference between longlines and bustiers (maybe that bustiers have wires that go through the whole bodice part but longlines have less bumps and seams and stuff)

Coursets are the ones that tie in the back...

Unless you know at least what type of dress you plan to get, I reccomend waiting until you order but before your fittings to make sure the length and bumps and stuff are not visible under your dress...

Also unless you are super sure what size you are, I highly reccomend going to a specialized store and trying it on just because the salespeople are usually really knowledgable...it took me until I bought mine to realize that I had been wearing ENTIRELY the wrong size bra my whole life

I think Longline bra, bustier, and corset are the same thing just different ways to call them.

Typically you buy one after you have picked out your dress before you go for your first fitting.

Bridal salons do carry a range of sizes and even if they don't have your exact size they will find something close just to try on.

I bought mine at Gerogettes...I have a very unique bra size and they were able to do some custom stuff for a really good prices.
