Look At Halls or Go to a Bridal Showcase

Which comes first?

any showcases soon???

The showcases can be overwhelming. The vendors can be like vultchers(spelling) If you give out your information they will call you forever! When you look at a hall or when you book one they give u a list of their vendors. The showcases can be very helpful but just be aware

i would reccommend looking at halls first. so when you look at vendors you have an idea of where your wedding will be. and i def. second jens advice above.

i would look at halls first! honestly i didnt find showcases very helpful.....

I would look at halls first. A showcase to me is as good as looking on-line at a place. You have to walk in and feel it and you will know when the place is right for your wedding

Showcases are crazy and overwhelming. I would recommended checking out halls 1st

yup...i agree. i made the mistake of going to a showcase first. YIKES!! for the next 3 months i think i received sooooo much junk mail from vendors---and the phone calls NEVER STOPPED! to be completely honest, i find the shocases to be almost a total waste of time. all that happens is you come up with a bag chock full of brochures and a headache!

I went to a showcase before looking at any halls and it was very overwhelming because all I was interested in at that point were the reception halls. But I took information from everyone and recently pulled all the non-reception hall info out that I had gotten and have been accumulating in the mail and I can say that at this point it's helpful.

looks at halls...once you pick one or narrow it down you can go to showcases...this way you can get an idea of vendors!

YES!! she is right!! Do not give your number to them at the showcases.. I got slammed with calls!! I would say visit halls first!! good Luck!

I visited the halls first. I only went to one showcase since I started this whole wedding planning. And OMG the phone calls are crazy not to mention the emails coming in are nuts. I got 21 today from different vendors. I wish I did not give my information out. Im not even up to or thinking about some of the stuff Im getting emails and mail on. I know the info can be helpful, but enough is enough!!

This is why you never use your real name when signing in at those shows. heck sometimes I never even signed in. It was great.

I would look at halls first. Most halls will give you a list of recommended vendors that will give you a head start. I went to one show case and never went back because the vendors can be overwhelming and once you give anyone your info they must sell it because my cell phone rang constantly!
