I am biased to Giorgio's since I am having my reception there, but Captain Bill's, Smithtown Landing, Woddbury CC, and Thatched Cottage are all beautiful. It depends on if she likes water, or gardens. Flowerfields is also beautiful.

I am getting married at the Thatched Cottage next July. It is beautiful, they are so helpful and professional and the food was great at the tasting. Also they redid the whole downstairs and alot of other little things- it looks nothing like it does on the website anymore:)

Smithtown landing-nice place but didn't like having to walk outside from cocktail hour to reception... What if it rained.
Thatched Cottage- my first choice but too pricey unless you look into certain months.. but our date was too much...
Chateau La Mer-nice place and large food selection but wanted a place that did one wedding at a time.
Atlantis Marine World- we were told too many things that changed our minds
Captain Bills- this was our alternative choice to the Milleridge but realized the Milleridge was more our style. georgeous room though and heard only good things about the food.
Meadow Club-cheaper end but a little outdated.

Woodbury CC: The place is really pretty and has nice grounds. The food was great.

Floral Terrace: It's also really beautiful inside and the food is awesome, lots of it.

I am getting married at the Thatched Cottage and I love it. The price is reasonable, the tasting was very good, and it is beautiful there.

We're getting married at harbor Links and it's a beautiful, simple place on reallly beautiful grounds. They gave us a good deal (compared to other places that weren't even quite as nice) for a Sat night wedding and the food is AMAZING!

I went to look at Chateau la Mer and I wasn't impressed. The main reason was that I saw ketchup stains on the wall and I didn't love the setup for a large group.

I am sure that they just didn't get a chance to clean from the night before but still, that threw me off a little.

Other than that, it seemed like a great place. There was a huge selection for cocktail hour and I loved the outside grounds with the water and the boat.

Let me just set something straight about atlantis marine world.......NO, it does NOT has a terrible fish smell inside. You might smell it during the day when the stingrays are being fed the raw fish or if they splash water on the ground, but they clean it up.

The food was AMAZING. I don't know if they changed chef's in the past or what, but everyone said how the food was like butter and amongst the best they ever had.

You get the whole place for your own party, and everything turns out just as elegant, if not more so than any other fancy catering hall....just my two cents

I have been to weddings at the Crest Hollow and Floral Terrace.

The Crest Hollow was nice. The food was good and there was a very nice CH. I didn't like that there was 2 or 3 other parties going on, including a bar mitzvah in the next room. The kids from that party came tearing through my friend's reception a couple of times (junior wedding crashers I guess). I felt that there should have been a little bit of control on that situation on the part of the staff there. Other than that though, it was a very nice wedding.

My other friend got married at FT last summer. The amount of food served was insane. CH was just unbelievable. They literally had everything you could think of and the food was great. Plus there was adequate seating for everyone. Dinner was very good too...I think there were like 5 courses all together. They offered 2nds to everyone which was nice also. Then she also had a viennese hour which was another food bonanza. I left there feeling like a stuffed sausage...LOL
