wow, it does look pretty... one of my favorite weddings i attended was a simple one on a small farm in nebraska.

It looks like you can have the party in a tent or the barn. They are not from Vermont, but from NY. So I guess that everyone will have to travel there for the weekend. Do you think a lot of people will go for the entire weekend?

When a friend from college got married in NH (where she grew up) on a Sunday, a number of our friends flew in for her bridal shower/bachelorette party on Thursday and stayed through Monday. I had to work, so we didn't come up til Friday night but we stayed til Sunday night.

That is basically the wedding I wanted to have. We looked at tons of places all over VT, but when it came down to it - the price of renting the tent, chairs, tables, place setting, silverware, glassware, etc. and getting the amount and quality of food that we were looking for at a nice location actually made Manhattan a more viable option for us!

Yes...people will travel. My brother and SIL got married in Disney...they both live on LI...and everyone travled to attend their wedding. It was a blast!!
