Look what I got last night...

I begged FI and he finally said ok. All I have to do now is watch that my dog Murphy doesnt get to them.

They are zebra finches. A male and a female and we got a little nest and the lady said they may have babies. This isnt a pic of my actual birds.

We had them and had them once...be careful, they reproduce like crazy!!! We were have little baby birds like twice a year...6-8 cluches (babies) each time.

Be sure the female has a lot of cuttlebones in the cage because they can get eggbound.

They are cuties!

No they are quiet. Little peeps, thats all. If you saw Finding Nemo, remember the seagulls 'mine mine mine'... thats what it reminds me of.
