Looked at Veils and Headpieces Today (Good price????)

My mom and I went to Francine's Cosmetiques because we heard their prices are reasonable. They do a variety of wedding services (hair, makeup, veils, headpieces, jewelry etc.). Francine was very helpful. I like the veil slightly shorter than a fingertip with rattail, casade style. I saw a beautiful headpiece from Jessica McClintock with freshwater pearls and silver that I like. I was quoted approx. $300 for the two pieces. Sounds reasonable to you?

I am not sure if I am going with it yet, I was wondering if it is a good price. She also said if we get the accessories there, the makeup trial is free. I am not sure about that either.

If I can find a link to pictures I will post it later.

Sorry but I only paid a max of $35 for a tiara..
I bought three but kept only one.

I spent $24 on my first veil that Jim's grandmother accidently threw out.. and $30 on the next one.

I couldnt justify $$$ for veil and tiara when Ebay has them so cheap.

I know there are such beautiful tiaras out there and wonderful veils, I just couldnt put it on my budget when I wanted other stuff.

Go to tri county... There is a lady by the front doors that does amazing jobs. My sister found her tiara their and was going to have my mother (a dressmaker) do the veil but the lady at the flea was so inexpensive that it would have cost mom more for the fabric than for the lady at the flea to make it.

Many girls on here have recommended them I am just not sure of the booths name sorry.

I am paying 150 for both! my veil is fingertip length with some type of edging and my headpiece is silver with rinestones

I got it at Fantasyland in Patchogue!

I paid $100 for both from Tri County. I got it from Joan's Costume Jewelry. She's located in the front-I think right by the other tiara place.

Try bridalfashionmall.com.

Someone had a link to it in a thread here, and I love it. They do have a few Jessica McClintock tiaras.

For the ones who got their tiaras and veils at Tri-Country, can you please tell me the type of veils and headpieces you got and maker if you know?

I paid more than that for my veil and tiara so I don't think it's a bad price. I have seen some cheaper tiaras that were nice, and I planned on spending half of what I did, I just happened to fall in love with a more expensive one.

I am reluctant about ebay because I don't get to actually 'see' the veil and headpiece before I buy it. What are their return policies?

I found my tiara in a bridal shop and then ordered it from glamgal.com for much cheaper. Patchogue Floral sells Jessica McClintock headpieces. I almost bought one there. The 2 Jessica McClintock headpieces I saw were only $65 there.
I bought my veil from Barrons in Tri-County. I don't think they sell name brand veils. They make them to your specifications. They helped me figure out what type of veil would be best and took measurements based on my height and what type of hairstyle I would be wearing in order to get the perfect length. I picked it up last week and it was perfect-exactly what I wanted. If you describe to them what you want, I'm sure they will be able to make it for you. My veil was only $45, but it was very simple-a 2 tier circle cut (center gathered) elbow length veil with pencil edge. Glamgal also sells veils and their prices are listed on the website, but they can also custom make a veil for you. JMO, but $300 is more than I wanted to pay.

These are the ones I got from Tri-County, sorry I don't know the make. I would look for you but it's being stored along with my dress @ my grandma's!
