What is one thing you wished you didn't spend time or money on?
For me it was my two wedding wishes guestbooks. I loved making them but in the end with a sign in photo board and two guestbooks neither one was really a hit.

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
no regrets really. as it got closer to wedding i stopped agonizing over the litle details b.c i was concentrating on the big picture plus we jsut couldnt afford much more than what we were already spending.
i actually wish i did a few more things like the personalized menus and few other added details but there was no time and very little money.
in the end, i was happy with all of my choices.

I didn't do many 'extras' so there's nothing I regret doing.

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
I did not do the many extras like menus, programs, slipper basket. No one missed them and the day was beautiful. I had so much to do and not being crafty, it was not a big deal and no one missed it.

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
No regrets - DH and I had an awesome time at our wedding, danced the entire night. I did tons of extras (slipper baskets, etc.) and ppl. are still talking about the details.......very glad that I did them all.

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
No real regrets...though I forgot to bring instructions to the wishbowl and so no one really knew what to do. We had the DJ make an announcement but we only got a handful of note cards and some said things like 'I wish for bigger b00bs.'

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
I wouldn't have paid soooo much money for the CH room flowers. No one prob realized that I was the one who paid to have the gerber daisies and roses floating in the bowls (they prob assumed they were from the RH) and I never saw it and I have no pis of it!

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
Moneywise, no regrets. I budgeted and spent wisely, did not do things I felt were unnecessary like slipper baskets and bathroom baskets. I focused on what guests will remember, like the food, booze, flowers, music and favors.
The one regret that both DH and I share is that we did not spend enough time together at the reception. We were always being pulled apart.

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
We had a TON of personalized details, and I don't regret any of it!!!!!!!
One of the things we are getting the most compliments on about our wedding is the personalized details, all the little touches. They were even noticed by those in the group you'd never expect to notice things like that!

... I actually wish we had videotaped the wedding and also stayed at the Inn for the wedding night rather than leave...

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
hmmm.....not much really. I did have personalized napkins that I don't think anyone noticed and the guest frame didn't really work out since it was back behind the deis...no one really noticed it. But, all in all the little things I did got the most comments.

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
Probably the chocolate fountain. not because people didn't love it, but because they placed it in the back corner of the room. I don't think half the people even realized it was there.

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
There's only 1 thing for me - I spent A LOT of time making up these really detailed 'welcome packets' for the hotel guests & while I got a lot of compliments on them, I don't think that anyone actually used them in the end. The wedding was on Sat. morning so almost everyone came in late on Friday night and then headed home after the reception...they didn't go bar hopping on Friday or sight-seeing on Saturday

Me three!
I didn't want to be bogged down with too many detailed things to do and be able to enjoy stress-free.

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
there were so many things that so many people told me not to waste $ on b/c no one will notice them, which I found to all be wrong they were cry packets 'no one will notice' pocketfold invites 'oh everyone just throws them away' band over a dj- 'no one will dance'
well I have to say, my invites were amazing and we mailed them out on a wed, by friday I had like 10 messages on how much everyone loved them, and the weekend that followed so many more people called, and kept commenting on how great they were... so I think it was well worth it
Cry Packets, all the women loved them!!, they said they were great to throw in their pocket books and have a tissue when needed, and they looked really cute! so no regret here
And the band-they made my wedding!! we had to spend a lot more on this but everyone told me how great they were, so well worth it
In the end, there isn't anything I can say I regret spending $$ on
