What is one thing you wished you didn't spend time or money on?
For me it was my two wedding wishes guestbooks. I loved making them but in the end with a sign in photo board and two guestbooks neither one was really a hit.

I have no regrets at all except for the limos but we needed them regardless of wether or not the company was terrible!

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
No regrets. We kept the DIY's simple and managable-enough to give a personal touch but not so much to make us crazy.
The weather wasn't good for outside pictures, but there wasn't anything I could do about that.
Also, my grandma was ill and we were going to try to bring her just for the ceremony. The day before the wedding, my dad told me he thought it would be too much for her and he didn't want to risk making her worse. I was pretty sad and upset about that, but I was able to stop and see her for a little while on the way to the wedding.
It was tricky to figure out the timing, but I'm glad we did. All the ladies at the assisted living facility were lined up to see me and the girls and were very sweet to us. It meant rushing through hair and make-up and cutting out time for pictures, but if we hadn't worked it out, I would have really regretted it.

No real regrets...though I forgot to bring instructions to the wishbowl and so no one really knew what to do. We had the DJ make an announcement but we only got a handful of note cards and some said things like 'I wish for bigger b00bs.'

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
I was very happy that we didn't go overboard on DIYs...I was glad that people loved my DIY programs (my only DIY) and the baskets looked lovely, but I would have listened to myself and made a lot less (however, in retropect, it did give me something to do at work and my co-workers really loved helping with my wedding)
The one thing I would have not wasted money on is my DJ, who I was really not happy with..I would have gone with my original pick.
I also would have not wasted money on my shawl (albeit 50 dollars-i insisted we take a few pics with me wearing it since I wouldn't have otherwise!)-they were predicting cold weather for our day, but luckily, it was lovely and I really didn't need my shawl! I should have gotten a cheap faux fur wrap instead, because I would actually use that in the future for winter events!

None- I did programs, menus, slipper baskets, bathroom baskets, and a lot of decorations, and ppl. are still complimenting us on how thoughtful we were and how beautiful all of the little touches were!

I probably would have spent less on the band. There were bands out there that I heard were less expensive and just as great! We paid a lot to have a 10 piece band, but we probably would have been fine with less pieces.
Other than that, I think everything was worth it! The most reasonable vendor (the florist) was actually our best vendor though, which I find interesting.

I didn't spend too much time on do-it-yourself... i ordered most extra things and i don't regret any of them. I almost wish i did some more of it...one thing i wish is giving programs to everyone rather than just woman... I had my Dh's cousin hand them out at church and since i wasn't sure how many people would attend.. i figured all woman since they are the ones that actually care.. but I have like 40 left... totally should have given them to everyone... what will i do with them now??

Nothing...It was really relaxing and good. I just wish I wouldn't have had to work the night before and that I would have had 1 extra day to myself on the island

I wish I didn't make such a big deal over what DH's mother was going to wear. She gave no interest and found a dress 1 week before. I got myself so aggravated and I didn't think of her all day.

Re: Looking back on your wedding....
This wasn't monetary, but it ended up having financial impact. I tried to DIY our bifold, bilingual invitations. Really difficult. I ended up getting them printed professionally on a rush order after I spent 50 hours working on them and they still looked like crap. If I had paid a graphic designer $50 an hour to do them, that would have been $2,500! Not worth the brain damage. I should have called it quits earlier.
ETA--clarification.

I don't think I really regret working on or spending money on anything... I didn't do bathrooom baskets or anything... or personalized bottles of water, which I think would've been nice, but wasn't missed during the actual wedding.

Not a thing, I did ton of DIY's and all I got were compliments and comments about how personal it made the wedding!
I iwsh I had rememebered to give the kids their bags and lollipops, I totally forgot and since ther wasn't a table for them, no one realized they were for them.
