A great weekend getaway. Im looking for something near or on a beach however I live out east so Im not really a fan of the city traffic during the summer in the Hamptons and Montauk. Any ideas?? TIA

It's not near a beach, but we had a great time at Mohegan sun for a weekend getaway. They have good restaurants, awesome spa, and shows. It's not just a casino.

We're driving up to RI to Newport during the summer - take the ferry and cuts the trip in half!
