I'm trying to find my fiance's grandmother an embroidered handkerchief as part of her gift. Only thing is she is Greek and doesn't speak to much English or can read English. So I'm trying to find a handkerchief that can be embroidered in Greek. I tried etsy but no luck yet.

Re: Looking For
What about if you bought a plain handkerchief & had it embroidered at the mall or flea market?

Re: Looking For
Did you try searching for a place/embroidery place in Astoria. Has a HUGE greek population... just a suggestion :)

Re: Looking For
This may be along shot on LI bot I was in a sorority in college and we had a 'greek store' that would embroider all our stuff. They had the greek cartridge for the machine that does the embroidery. Maybe there is one by Hofstra

Re: Looking For
I bought handkerchiefs and I planned to have them embroidered at the mall but didnt. Instead, I wrote out a personal note specifically to my Aunt from France in French. I just wanted them to be able to use them any time without 'wedding stuff' written on it lol
