Looking for a beach weddding venue with casual elegance

I am looking for a ceremomy/reception venue that is on or close to the beach. We were originally considering a destination wedding in Key West, but now have decided to stay close to home. We don't want any venue that has a catering hall feel to it. We would prefer a location that is unique and holds some of the beauty and charm that a Key West location would have. Our guest list will be around 150 and we are hoping to have the wedding sometime next summer. We are also willing to hold a destination wedding that is within a few hours driving distance for our guests. Because we are getting married next year, we will have a strict budget.

Thank you so much for all the suggestions...These are all places I would never have thought of. I just started the planning and already I am overwhelmed

Try BRidgeview yacht club.. its not on a beach, but on the water

The sands in Lido Beach is closing but the Sands in Atlantic Beach is gorgeous and is on the water..

Thanks! I am actually going to look into the beach clubs in that area too. I didn't knoow that the Sands Beach Club was closing.

I definitely recommend the Sands in Atlantic Beach... if the Coral House didnt give us such an amazing deal we would have went with the Sands

west sayville country club.....its a 100 year old mansion ....so beautiful with a feeling like your home...not at a catering hall

What about Sunken Meadow Pavillion? I went to a wedding there recently and the ceremony is right on the beach. The reception was in a tent and they also have a room for the guests if it rains.
