Looking for a Beautiful Park in Westchester County

that is comparable to the Westbury Mansion and Gardens. Does anyone know of any? I am getting married in Westchester but live on LI and would rather take pictures close to the reception site but I absolutely LOVE Westbury Mansion and Gardens!! I hope there is something like it in Westchester! Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Where in Westchester?

There are dozens and dozens of parks in Westchester. Take a look at some of the grounds of the mansions in Tarrytown (and surrounding areas). Search 'manion' and 'Westchester' on either Yahoo or Northern Light and that should yield some information. Let me know if you need additional info as I am very familiar with Westchester.

Try Untermyer Park in Yonkers

JenniferA I live in Yonkers, alot of people use this park for their photos..here is a description Untermyer Park, featuring an astonishing view of the Hudson River and Palisades, a classical temple overlooking a mosaic pool, a Greek amphitheater, sculptures by Paul Manship and Grecian gardens that are an excellent example of the Beaux Arts-style landscape design.

the Fountainhead in New Rochelle so, I was looking for something close to that! Thanks again for the ideas - all suggestions are appreciated!

How about...

Lyndherst Castle? Tarrytown (I don't know the #)but Fabulous Foods caters there, they can be reached at 914-524-7900. Abigail Kirsch Mansion? Tarrytown( 914-631-3030) Estherwood Mansion? Dobbs Ferry (914-693-3322) Tarrytown House? Tarrytown (914-591-8200) There is also a place that has traditional Japanese Gardens. You should ask around about it, or check the Westchester Chamber of Commerce on- line. I'm not sure about 'the rules' of photo shoots at these locations.I checked all out for a reception.
