I am getting married in June 2003 at Timber Point Country Club in Great River. I want to have the ceremony at a separate location so that I can take pictures afterwards and still make the Cocktail hour. Does anyone know of any ceremony location sites on the south shore in Suffolk County?

Looking for a Ceremony Site
We found a couple of places:
1) The Grange in Sayville. Call the Town of Islip to book it. It seats 60 people and it looks like Little House on the Praire chapel. It open to any faith.
2) CW Post has an interfaith chapel. You can view it online at cwpost.edu or .com whatever. You can view it if you can find it. We didn't look at it, b/c it's on the North Shore in Nassau (45mins. away)
3) In Woodbury, there is a chapel for rent. It costs $900 to rent. It includes the officiant, the organ player, and the place. Too expensive for us and too far. Woodbury is about 40mins. You can view this on Chapels.com
All in all, the Grange worked out better for us. It costs $125 to rent + $50 deposit. You decorate it yourself and I would recommend taking a look at it.
