Does anyone know of a ceremony vocalist either that they used or have heard? We are looking for a female because the songs we are thinking of using sound better sung by a woman.
You may want to call some colleges, ie CW Post and speak with the music department secretary. Perhaps they can put you in touch with a vocal major who you could at least listen to. I went there and I played in a string quartet for someone's wedding and the bride got my name that way.
Our vocalist was a lady names Sarah who was recommended to us from someone on this sight (she's a personal friend of someone and I posted a message similar to yours and got her name and e-mail message from someone cruisin the boards). By the way - she was great!!! She has a lovely voice, she'll send you a demo tape, and she sang all of the songs we wanted very well. She took care of getting music to our organist as well. I was a little worried because I had never met her (first time meeting her was after the wedding ceremony during the reception line) but she was excellent about keeping in touch with us prior to the wedding via e-mail/phone, and she showed up right on time and did a wonderful job!!!
