Looking for a DJ

I am looking for a DJ for my reception. The lowest quote I have received has been $700 for 6 hours. Does anyone know of a good DJ for around the same price or lower that they could recommend?

Looking for a DJ

I used Dominoe Entertainment. We paid $650 I think for four hours. They were very easy to work with - they don't have the huge lights and machines and all but everyone was on the dance floor from the beginning to the end of the reception. I used

QT Productions. Mike Shields was great to work with. I recently went to a wedding, they used DejaVu, they were terrific. I would use them if I had it to do over again.

I used Aristocrat Productions for our Holiday Party

At the last minute I decided to get a DJ for our office Holiday Party. I came across Aristocrat Productions 718 956-1800 on a planning web site and booked them for the night (4 hours). I delt with Tony, and explained that it was a very diverse croud and to just read the croud and make sure everyone had fun. The croud loved him. Not too loud, not to much club - just right. He even had holiday give aways for the kids.
