I have decided to become a two-dress bride. I will change into the second dress at the beginning of the after party. I have my heart set on a Romona Keveza, but would rather not pay retail. I know that some of you are having your dresses made, and I would like to try something like that...
Does anyone know of a good dress makes/seamstress in Nassau County? I'd even travel to Queens...

Phyllis at gownfind.com is a custom dress maker. She used to do custom work for the Huntington Bridal Suite.

i know that there is a seamstress at alta moda in bellmore that makes custom dresses. she made the MOB dress for a friends wedding.
