Looking for a fun 'Extra'

Hey girls!

I'm looking at having a fun 'extra' for the wedding. A treat of some sort. I got a quote for a cotton candy machine which wasn't too bad but still an additional expense. Anyone have an ideas that won't be too costly?

there's an italian ice truck that drives around- i think it's gillians? it said they do parties. would be such a cute idea!

How about a chocolate fountain? I don't know how much that would cost in comparison to cotton candy.

Bagels and cream cheese? I wanted to hand that out at the end of the night so people would have breakfast the next morning, but I couldn't find a place to give me the price I wanted.

This was my favorite 'extra'. This was the first thing I thought of but my reception isn't ending that late (11:30) so I wondered if it would be weird.

i was at a wedding that had a ralph's italian ices stand and a hot pretzels stand at the end of the night, everyone loved both!

$2,000 for the basic package. Womp womp. If you use them for music they will give you a better deal though.
Such an awesome idea but def. not what I'm looking to spend.

Would you mind sharing who you used. I REALLY think this is what I want. My sister in law also had the idea to set up a martini 'bar' next to it so we can serve cotton candy martini's as a signature drink. I think that sold me! LOL

Are you doing a photobooth?
My guests LOVED the photobooth and thought it was unique as none of them had ever been to a wedding that had one. So that was pretty cool!
Plus they have something to take home along with the favor!

I thought about having an illusionist…there was a guy i met in a restaurant while having dinner with my parents and he did these AMAZING tricks with cards and stuff…he knew things he couldn't possibly know (like my sisters name -she wasn't there that night). It was crazy. I think i contacted him and he was ridiculously expensive but gigs.com has fortune tellers, magicians, etc.

I went with the Cotton Candy cart! I contacted my venue to tell them what I was looking for and they told me they will take care of everything at the price I wanted to pay. They are pretty awesome!
