Do you know what area you want a job in? There are some industry-specific sites...

Those are good sites, monster.com and hotjobs.com. For what specifically are you looking?

Re: Looking for a job (**career)
Im looking for education (in schools) however, not possible because I am not certified. I usually also check out the social work jobs. Its hard because these days you have to be Certified or have your master's. I have to get back to school! I just want to get my foot in the door somewhere. I want a change from the company I have been with. Thank you for your help.

Subbing is good if you decide you want to go back and get certified. You will need your Masters in Education. If you need benefits though, that wont' work unless you do it part time and find another job with benefits.
Other ideas: Agency jobs There are agencies that hire caseworkers Teacher's Aide in public schools

Go to the www.nytimes.com and click on the job market. Do the advanced search. Make sure you aren't too specific. That's how I found my current job and I love it!

Re: Looking for a job (**career)
It's going on 2 months for me and still open in the market. I was laid-off in my recent job. It's not really great now but the job market is hopeful in 2005. Good luck.

I'd say keep checking on websites (don't forget to also check flipdog.com), and nytimes.com. Hopefully some listings will show up next week, new year. Have you thought about possibly working for a therapy agency, in some capacity?
