Just went online to look at the balance of my Checking Account....I don't know why I bother, I know there's nothing there!

But...today...I have .47 left in the checking account!

Yes...FORTY SEVEN CENTS Ladies!

Do you think they'll let me withdraw it???

I hate getting paid on the 15th and Last Day of the Month....RRRGH.

Does anyone else live like this? Make me feel better.

Don't get me wrong...I make a lot of money compared to most my age, but why am I still living like a 12 year old - paycheck to paycheck?????

I thought making more money would mean I have more in my pocket...but I spend more....I think I need an intervention...

AND WHY is Uncle Sam taking out over 1K in taxes.....Just NOT RIGHT!

LOL, I get paid the 15th and the last day of the month too, it really ***** why would anyone do that.

As soon as I get my check I pay the bills, put money away to save and I don't have much left over, so as I approach the next pay day I have like nothing left!

Sometime I am taking money from my FH for lunch

OMG, I feel your pain, I get paid every other friday which is good cause then I know I have money to go out on the weekend. Talk about taxes, every 2 weeks, good ol uncle sam takes 800 bucks

Yup, I basically live from paycheck to paycheck now too...***** but whatever...as long as Im able to pay all my bills and have money fro myself...I know eventually things will settle down...

ETA: And I get paid darn good...get appx a grand taken out as well...cant wait to get married and get a break...

Every time I open up my paystub I scream from my office 'DAMN THE MAN'

I HATE HATE HATE getting paid on the 15th/30th! This was a long stretch too Christine!

Did I mention I hate the way I get paid?

#1. Anyone want to hire me?? I need to make more money.

#2. How can we all expect to have money if we are all saving for weddings!!!!

#3. Im so used to getting paid twice a month. It stinks, but you get used to it.

Fh gets paid the same way. I get paid every Wednesday, and it is no better. My check is already spent before it hits.

Well it doesnt get altogether better but you do get a slight break...if you want a nice chunk of change in April then claim 0 but if you want a break throughout the year then claim as being married... it also depends on your assets and that good stuff...

I get paid my pittance every two weeks, usually sometime bet. Saturday and Monday- I am much happier when it's on Saturday

BUT I will say that I am a firm believer in taxes- I just wish the RICH PEOPLE paid their FAIR SHARE....

I am sick of these tax shelters for billionaires to HIDE in- what about the shelter we poor people have to pay for is to LIVE in!

also, thank you to all of you- by dutifully paying your taxes, you are contributing in some small way to my measley govt salary, and to my whopping annual 3-ish % increase!

I feel for you- those months when it was 3 weekends on one pay check- ouch!

I hear ya - the more you make the more you spend - the more you make the more the 'man takes' --- thats why i work 2 jobs - days job all stays in the bank for bills wedding and just savings - 2nd job - oh i piss that all away!

and i have a hidden saving account from my FH cause he would spend everylast .47 cents ...sounds mean but truth its for the greatter good of me not killing him
