I'm looking for a photographer, preferably someone who would use 2 photographers, very creative and photojournalistic but not too pricey.

We're using Imagine Studios (www.imaginestudios.net). Their highest package included two photographers. They are a little expensive but not too crazy. It is a husband/wife team. Lena (the photographer) has a great artistic eye. Check out their website - It will give you a feel for their work.
We're using Patken. They will definitely do more creative work with you. They will also work with you as far as price goes. I'm sure you can do a search on this site about them, they have been mentioned often. Good luck!
I, too, am using Patken. We are using Steven. Have not seen the results yet, we are getting married next month, but have heard all rave reviews about Patken and more importantly, about Steve. Its one of the few vendors we are not worried about meeting our expectations and going above them.

I would check out edcollinsphoto.com. I booked him for my September wedding. He's great. Very artistic, not too many posed pictures, lots of black and white. He's located in Manhattan. He's really nice too - he likes to get to know his clients so he can bring out their personal style in his photos. His prices were pretty average - starting at $2700. Good luck!
Mark Kauffman totally turned me off. Just a word of advice. I went to
his Manhattan studio since I work in the city and was impressed initially until
I had a prior bride and mother come in and get rooked! He told them
after the fact that they would have to pay extra for sooo many things.. whoch
they couldn`t understand wasn`texplained to them before. He was totally taking advantage.. just not right.. because they were then stuck to
pay the price for what they wanted. I walked out of there and never looked back! I went with Jovon, in E. Norwich which I love! Actually, one photographer, Lynn, works for
Kauffman and Jovon - go figure!
Can you give a possible price range for imagine studios?
Between $5500-$6500 for very nice packages (that's including video). The mega-extravagant package is more and the cheap very simple one is less. It is definitely worth it for what you get. Oh, I forgot - I might be paying a few hundred more because I need an extra parent album.
