Looking for a RC CHURCH!!

We have a CHECK next to RH, but now we need a CHURCH! FH and I are registered at a very nice church in our neighborhood, beautiful inside and out but the aisle is like 3 steps to the alter So, now we are on a hunt for a beautiful church (Roman Catholic) , inside and out, with A/C maybe with some steps out front (love stair shots for pics!) but not a big deal, and has to be in either Brooklyn, Queens or Nassau County, and also with not so many restrictions (like, I've heard some churches not marrying you bc you are not a member or you cant have decorations, aisle runners or flowers thrown on the grd - that kind of thing!) ...ladies please help! Thank you!

St Catherine's in Franklin Square had beautiful steps on the outside. It's FH church and my bestie's where she is getting married.

St. Rose of Lima in Massapequa's outside isn't spectacular but it has a really LONG isle. That is where I will be getting married.

Good Luck!

Re: Looking for a RC CHURCH!!

St. Barnabas in Bellmore is lovely and their aisle is 100 feet!

Don't know about the restrictions of whether you need to be a part of the congregation or not. You are allowed to have a runner, but no petals dropped by flower girl (its too dangerous with the marble floor).

St. Raphael's in East Meadow and Sacred Heart in Merrick both recently rebuilt their chapels and they are gorgeous, clean and not too ornate and more modern looking on the outside.

Good Luck!

Thanks Ladies, do any of these churches have A/C during the summer months?

Do you know how much any of these churches charge? Thanks!

Re: Looking for a RC CHURCH!!

We're getting married at my parish, St. Joseph's in Hewlett. Its air conditioned and one of the closest churches to the Queens border. Not sure if they have restrictions about what can get thrown and aisle runners but I'm sure you can call and find out. The church is BEAUTIFUL. You should go check it out!
