Please recommend a nice restaurant for our RD. We're looking for something in the $20 to $25 pp range.

Not positive about the price but I'm pretty sure it's in that range, if not less. Try Austin's Ale House in Kew Gardens (it's on Austin at Lefferts Blvd - right next to the LIRR). The food is great and I've seen them block off the entire room for private parties. I'm keeping them in mind for our RD.

Re: LOOKING FOR A RESTAURANT IN QUEENS??
Luigi's is great! It's a small Italian restaurant on Union Turnpike (Little Neck area). They have a small part room in the back & it's very quiet & private. We just went to a baby shower there & it cost them $22 pp. & that was for sit down - a buffet has got to be cheaper.
Also, it might be out of your price range but a lot of people have fun doing RD at Churascaria's (sp?) like Master Grill in Flushing. I know that one has a small band that plays live background music on certain nights & it's actually nice. Their female vocalist is lovely.

There's Papazzio's on Bell Blvd. - that's a good place but not sure about the price per plate.

Greenfield's in Jackson Heights (I think) is really good too if you go the churrascuria way.

Mastergrill is only about $20 per person (without drinks of course ...)

I still think Giardinos in Douglastan is the best price for the food and I am pretty sure they have a private room.

Yes, I think Giardino's is great too. i think that's where we're ahving ours. You get a several course meal (a lot of food) for around $20 and they do have a private room. It's on northern Blvd in Douglaston
