Looking for a Russian DJ

Looking for a Russian DJ

First of all hello and congratulations to all the brides,
I'm new to the site and I must say it is most helpful. I just got engaged and was feeling very lost and confused at first, but after reading all of your reviews I feel a little bit more encouraged that I CAN do it!

Maybe you could help me out. We are originally from Russia and most of our guests will be Russian as well. We've already decided to have a DJ instead of a band but I don't really know where to start looking for one. I would just look for any random DJ but he has to speak the language to make the guests feel more comfortable and have a nice selection of Russian songs both contemporary and classics. You know anything to keep the heritage alive :)

I would appreciate any help I could get.

Re: Looking for a Russian DJ

Thanks a lot.
I think I'm going to reach the point where I'll just go up and down Brighton shouting out for anyone who's a DJ

Any other recommendations, maybe for a very small band or just tow singers (a guy and a girl) would be great.

where will your wedding take place?

If it's in any of the Brooklyn Russian restaurants, then they all include their all MC and full band.

When I booked the Dj called 'In the Mix' the guy joked to me that they were the united nations because that have so many ethnic people.
MY fh is Greek...that day also someone booked a Korean Dj. I would try them.

We're planning to have the wedding either on June 20th or the 21st. We're looking at halls in LI and as you know most of the places do offer their vendors but they’re all American. But I will try the UN DJ idea :) thx again ladies
