Hi all! I'm on the hunt for a church/chapel for FH and I to get married in.. I realllly want something with a beautiful ornate feel.. something like you would imagine in Europe or spain specifically.. or if you've ever been to PR something like that.. any ideas?? we're having our reception in massapequa and would love for it to be close to there.. any suggestions??? also FH didn't make his confirmation :( so that can't be a huge factor..

Which religious denominations would you like?

umm that's a good question! we're both catholic but we really don't care so much about a particular denomination as much as just being allowed to be married by a religious figure in a church or chapel..

I'm getting married at St. Patricks in Bay Shore. It's a gorgeous church and you don't have to be a member to get married there. They may make your FH do something extra since he didn't make his confirmation.

Here is a picture of it. I think it could pass for a church in Spain! Sorry it's too big to post. Pic in my album!

I'm getting married at St. Patrick's in Bay Shore too! I am absolutely in love with that church. And Father Tom is so funny!

We are getting married at Grace Church in Massapequa and I hear they are opening the old church (the one in this picture) for wedding ceremonies. I'm not sure when but it's worth asking about..
