Hi Girls, My friend just got engaged and she and her FH are paying for the wedding themselves, so the budget is not very big. She is looking for a venue with an ability to have the ceremony outside. Since I just looked at one place before I booked mine, I wouldn't know what to recommend. I would greatly appreciate if you guys can recommend some places. The wedding will not be more than 100- 120pp. Thanks in advance !!!!

Look into Westbury Manor. They are awesome and if you can meet with Felicia. They have three rooms available. Also Sans Souci is great( we had e-party there) as it the Metropolitan in Glen Cove..... FM me if u want info on any of these... Tell your friend good luck and congrats

I 3rd Westbury Manor... I know Thatched Cottage has a winter special that isn't that expensive. Brentwood Country Club also has a package wedding.

Definitely check out the Riviera in Massapequa. Very affordable, great food, and a beautiful outdoor gazebo in the garden for a ceremony that overlooks the bay.

I TOTALLY second Westbury Manor. The outside is GORGEOUS and the inside is just as nice, in case of weather. My friend went to look at Swan Club when it was raining (for those like 3 months it rained this year) and she said there was a tiny smell of mold but people could get past it. Westbury Manor has GREAT grounds. Also, she can try the Hamlet. I heard they are AWESOME!

Re: Looking for a venue !!!!
CLM also has area outside right next to water where they do ceremonies - they have some pics of it in their gallery on their website. I would have loved to have done that, but my parents would have blown a gasket if we didnt get married in the church & that drama just wasnt worth it! Having the reception there though was good enough b/c it was better than anything I could've ever imagined! - if you can find her - ask MrsDrinkH20 - she got married outside at CLM - Im sure she would be a good person to ask!
Best of luck!

Re: Looking for a venue !!!!
The Smithtown Landing Country Club creates beautiful wedding packages for brides on a budget and there are 2 great places to get married outside there, which is what I'm doing! :)

Re: Looking for a venue !!!!
Were having our reception at Giorgio's and they have a beautiful garden outside for ceremonies as well. We've only heard great things about the place too from a ton of people and. Their prices are more affordable too and you get soo much for the $....
Also though we actually just went to a wedding this past Sunday at Majestic Gardens in Rocky Point and were very impressed with the food, atmosphere, and service. They had their ceremony there as well, and it is very picturesque. Cocktail hour was outside/inside too and its only one wedding at a time and I think their rates are prteey decent too...
