Looking for a wedding photographer WITHOUT packages

I am looking for a good wedding photographer that will just offer a package for pictures only. I do not need the whole 9 yards... just pictures and/or proofs. I'm making my own albums for myself and my parents. I am having a hard time finding one that is willing to follow me around all day and just take pictures. They all want me to commit to an expensive package for no less then $2,500... and we just don't have that kind of money. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks.

Try Duet- they have an online calculator and you can pick and choose the features you want and don't want.

Check out Dan Wagner! He is AMAZING and exactly what you're describing. We didn't want the whole nine yards either but still wanted great quality. He was it for us!

Patken said they will do whatever you want....they customize everything. They said they don't have set 'packages'

Try patken very reasonable i refused spend alot and my money went far i loved our pics from the in studio shoot

try marco!!! I'm using ken hild with a $2200 package. marco has a basic point and shoot for 1800 with photography all day and the proofs so its quite basic! i like marco but wanted something a bit more photojournalistic rather than posed!

Check out right angle studios. He has the basic package you want for right under 2500. He also lets you add albums or whatever you want after you wedding for up to 5 years.

I met with a few of the recommendations on this thread so far, and they all required an album and wouldn't go below $3500. We are using Fade to Black, Gil came in way under that, and I'm able to make my own album. Give him a call he can probably work into your budget.

I agree! He's very flexible and will work with you based on your needs. I have a package but he let me substitute in what I wanted for things that I didn't need
