I am getting married in September 27, 2008 and I am looking for a place to have my ceremony. I was thinking of a park or garden. Does anyone know of any that has a nice surrounding and is not too far away from Hempstead?

Planting Fields Arboretum is in Oyster Bay which isnt too far from Hempstead, maybe 15-20 min. You can try there!

try the nassau county museum of art, they have some gorgeous formal gardens there,
just be careful if you are looking for an outdoor spot for your ceremony... WEATHER!!

Ditto Dee606! It's a beautiful garden! Planting fields is another great choice for outdoor ceremony. Are you planning to have an outdoor reception too?
