Looking for Cocktail /Ceremony music.. Prefer Steeldrum

Hello Ladies,

Im just a few months away from my Engagement and less than a year from the BIG DAY!!!.. Im so excited..

Got my venue set, and caterer..
I was looking for Cocktail/cerermony music.. and we called Willy Cruz of the Islandboys.. I like his music so much from the website because it sounds so unique and not ' Typical' just wondering if anyone has used Islandboys services before.. .>>???

he is offering solo rates now with a good discount due to the economy... so I like that... he he also that he is a LIislander... and knows the area.. so Im not going to panic on the day of if the guy gets lost.....

I woiuld appreciate any feedback...

Sorry I never met with them, but we are having a steel drum band at our CH and we booked them through our DJ.

but I prefer to book direct. I like to know whom Im spending my money on.. and I prefer to speak with the musicians themselves as I generally dont like DJ's too much..im more of a ' REal Music' kinda girl..

i too got our steel drums through the dj.. (im sure same one) ... his name is pat davis --- see if he'll book you without going through the dj(fm entertainment)... he is phenominal!

i heard of Pat, but I like IslandBoys sound,, and Willy has been so kind..

Im really just asking Brides out there about IB .. I know they have a great REp... just nice to hear from other gals whov'e been thru the nervous what should I do,, stage..but trusted their gut instinct with bands..etc..

Im using steel sensation. They sound great live, i saw them at the showcase! Were using the 3 piece band! HTH

I just looked them up and saw the video of them from news 12 and it looked like they were playing where im getting married at flowerfield! They sound good!
