Looking for Dresses

When is too early?

My wedding is 14 months away. I have an appt tomorrow (BR in Carle Place) to start looking. However, I called Saks and a few other places in the city to make an appt in the next couple of weeks, and they told me I should hold off a bit b/c alot of the new 2005 dresses are coming in in the next month, month and a half.

Is it too early?? Should I not have made an appt tomorrow??

I started looking last week for next September. We definitely have plenty of time, and I don't necessarily plan on ordering my dress right away, but I don't think it's too early to be looking.

I think it is worthwhile to get a sense of what is out there and what styles look good on you.. but I would hold off until you know more about your day..

I started looking in the middle of July for my April 05 wedding.

And I agree re: when new styles come in.
