looking for dutch marriage box..

does anyone know where I might find one? I only have 2 months left. I found one at the Holland Museum and it's $100..if it gets down to it I'll buy it, but I was hoping to find one cheaper..

Thanks FutureMrsT! Unfortunately I tried google, yahoo and altavista. I found some antique ones for thousands of dollars, but that's about it...hmm...

Re: looking for dutch marriage box..

A dutch wedding box is a version of other ancient wedding boxes. It is a small box and in it the groom puts a gift. He then gives the gift to the bride a day or two before the wedding. It solidifies the contract for marriage once she accepts it.

It's kind of like the engagement ring 'contract'.
