Hi, Anyone know where I can find a Gospel choir for the church... My church says it's fine. i just can't find a good one!! Any ideas where i can go????

Did you ask the church is they have any reccomendations? I wonder if they would have Gospel choirs listed in the yellow book

i've been looking on the internet.. it's just hard to find... Looked into the Harlem Gospel singers, they wanted $3,000!! Just a bit OVER budget... FI would KILL me!!! Asked my church they dont have that type of Choir!! THank you though!!

TELL ME ABOUT IT!! Not like I 'need' them Just always wanted them.... I like the Happy happy way about it... not like regular church music!

I though having a string quartet would be a nice touch until I found out how much it cost! Oh well I guess the old church organ will have to do for me!

Why not take a chance and call around to some colleges?
FH graduated from Cortland (upstate), and I knew a girl who was in the gospel choir. They were 'rented' alllll the time!!! Weddings, parties, you name it.
It's worth a shot!
Not sure where you're located, but there's plenty on LI.

Oh thanks! I would have never thought about the colleges.. I was ready to go into all the churches! I'm going to look into that too!! THANKS!!
