looking for some places to book?

Im a newbie who is looking to finally get out there and set the date and BOOK! I went to the North Ritz Club as my 1st and it is absolutely beautiful but was amazed to hear of the price for 2006. Girls, what is the average for a Fri/Sat nite? I'm on a budget so this is scary to hear!

Sure, you want it all for a great price but the North Ritz didnt even offer to throw anything it. Not a way to get me to come back with the FI.

Anyone who got any suggestions, please feel free.

Well, what cost are you looking for? And what month? Saturday nights will be more $$$$ than Fridays, but you could try Sunday for cheaper still...I would say the average for a Saturday night might be around $90pp not including tax or gratuity.

Also June is going to be one of the most expensive months...try an off month like January or February.

I was hoping for May/June but I am fleixible.
I didnt know June was expensive.
I heard it was Sept/Oct that was expensive.
I am set on a spring/summer wedding and I thought that prices ranged from $75-$110.

Maybe Im just getting stressed that it is more than I expected. Lucky me!

Just be careful--know that the base price per person doesn't include the 8.75% sales tax and the 18% gratuity! I would advise you to make a budget for the whole wedding, then see what you have to spend for the reception. Even little things like flowers and photo are a couple thousand each.

I booked April 30, and got April pricing. I also wanted a summer wedding, but I also wanted Saturday night and one wedding at a time.

I always wanted a Spring wedding but we are on a budget just like many of us...so FH & I are getting married March 31, 2006...We received 'winter' pricing but the following day is April 1st....We are paying approximately $88 with tax & that is including a full viennese hour....Anything starting in the month of May-October is expensive

Just curious -- I booked the NRC in 2002 for my 2003 wedding.

How much is a Saturday day wedding and how much is Saturday night wedding?

I have to say that they did a great job, they are on top of every detail!!!
