Hi guys im going crazy, im trying to find a nice venue for about 50-75pp for a friday wedding in April next year. Have you guys seen any catering halls that are in this price range? I went to fox hollow, verdis, douglaston manor, and tower on the green. We are leaning towards fox hollow but thats definitely on the higher end of our budget. I have an appointment to see riviera tomorrow. any suggestions would be appreciated :)

Re: Looking for venues
I had a similar budget and I also had a small wedding, but I found four places that might interest you:
The WaterView Club - I think it's a 65 person min on a Friday night, 100 person min for a Saturday. I was quoted $80 per person for a Friday and $90 for a Saturday, but for my Sunday wedding I was able to talk them down to $70 which you might be comfortable with. (one wedding at a time. they have a really great view of the LI sound and they do weddings on the beach if you want)
The Woodlands on the Greens - operated by Woodlands at Woodbury, they aren't so large and have much smaller minimums. It was really pretty, I just wasn't crazy about the carpet. I think they quoted me $80 pp for a night event and $70 pp for a daytime event, but once again, you can always negotiate.
Larkfield Manor - since you have such a small party, you could be put in the Garden Room. I was quoted $60 pp for a daytime wedding - not sure what Friday night would be.
Sunset Harbour - also quoted $60 pp for a daytime wedding.
Good luck!

Re: Looking for venues
I'm biased but, definitely try Westbury Manor. They have a very intimate setting and great for smaller sized parties.
