I am looking for a new job...I work at Hofstra...I make no money.
If anyone is hiring...especially Media, PR, Event Companies...let me know.

Try different recruiters that specialize in your area. As well as newspapers, m o n s t e r s , etc.

me too!!! FYI there is this company called child safety enterprises in deer park, they make their jobs sound like it is what you are looking for. 'you will be going to events that promote child safety and raise money for places like D.A.R.E' I'm sure they really are donating money to charities but what they don't tell you is that their 'events' are really a table out side of a supermarket or store and you are selling t-shirts and other stuff. If this is what you want than great, but they don't tell you that at the first interview. they invite you for a second, working interview, which can get out stuck outside for the whole day. i went in the rain and cold... it took me 2 days till my feet stopped being cold!!!

sorry its so long but they describe it as an event company, offer a lot of money (which is all commission) I just don't want anyone to get stuck outside for a day like I did with out being warned!!!!!!
