Looking to rescue or adopt an Italian Greyhound!!!!!

My mother wants to get another dog to keep her shih tzu company, she's always wanted to rescue or adopt an Italian Greyhound. Does anyone have any info on what she needs to do to go about doing this?? It would be very helpful. Thanks

The person at work said someone told her about an ad in the paper (she already rescued a regular greyhound, so I guess they thought of her)

Definitely try petfinders. Your mom will LOVE owning an IG. I have one and he's the best thing that ever happened to me.

I don't know what an Italian Greyhound looks like, but my DH and I just rescued a retired racing grayhound Roscoe. If your interested check out the website. We just got him two days ago, and he's very well behaved. Any questions you can FM me.
