My mom called this morning - my grandmother died Actually, it was my step-father's mother, who i wasn't too close with, but I'm coming up to be with my step-father...

i hate this...

I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost my stepfather's mother last summer, and it was very difficult, so I know a little bit about how you feel. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks ya'll... I just got home to the insanity...

parents are stressed out and tired... and my brother and his gf are here... with her little boy (who i was unaware of)... so we've been scrambling about trying to baby proof the house and find any semblence of baby toys that might be about the house... which are few and far between since the 'baby' of the family is my 14 year old cousin...

anyways, thanks for your hugs and prayers - they're very much appriciated...

ETA: The baby is a cutie patooty! Though, i don't think i ever want my parents around my kids now! They're nutso!
