a rehearsal dinner after all. My FI old car had been sitting in our driveway for months now and we kept meaning to donate it but just kept forgetting. The day after we found out that FIL wouldn't be able to pay for the rehearsal dinner someone knocks on our front door and wants to buy the car. The price of the car will definitely pay for the rehearsal dinner!!! God works in mysterious ways.
Now I have to find a place that isn't too expensive. Does anyone know of a place around Lake Ronkonkoma or Lake Grove area. My church is in Lake Ronkonkoma right off of exit 60 off the LIE, so I am looking for some place relatively close to there.

If you take Hawkins Road up to Middle Country Road (25) and make a right...the Olive Garden is approx. a mile away. They have a dinner package that is $13.50pp and one that is $15.50pp. Definitely check them out!
It includes unlimited salad, breadsticks, choice of 1 entree, chocolate cake, coffee, tea and soda.

I can't help with the place but I wanted to say I'm really happy things worked out. I've learned that lesson a few times myself - God definitely works in mysterious ways!

I totally agree with StepherG. The olive garden is the perfect place and the price is just right. The package comes with unlimited bread and salad. PS - Im sooooo glad it worked out for you. I was keeping my fingers crossed for you yesterday!!!
