In reference to Kate, I think she got her best friend killed after she hooked up with Sawyer's ex. Her mother said to her in the bathroom that if she ever saw her again the 1st thing she would do is yell help. When Kate visited her mother in the hospital, that is when her mother yelled help and ultimately her bf died.
Juliet defintely was NOT left behind. She is so full of it. I love that Hurley convinced Sawyer that everyone was going to vote against him and he is Mr. nice guy. He looked so cute with the baby.

the only reason i THINK that Juliet MAY have been left behind is bc she has that 'mark of banishment'??? but of course the whole thing is fishy.

I think Juliet stayed behind and pretended they left her so she can study them or whatever.

i dont know about juliet. it makes sense that she would be banished because she did kill on of her own. but maybe part of her punishment of banishment is to invesitigate the others. Ben may have told her that she would have a second chance to 'go home' if she followed though with the plan, who knows, jack may be in on it.
however, there is no reason the believe juliet. she was very convincing when she told kate she didnt know about the black smoke and the handcuffs. i think she may be more misleading than we all think.
I hope there is a jack-juliet affair, i am so sick of the kate character, she strikes me to be very impulsive and selfish and deserves a kick in the arse.
