My FH has 5 groomsmen on his side (including his BM). I have 2 (my sister and his sister). I asked my best friend a few weeks ago when we really started planning so I'm waiting for a response from her. Do you girls think that the parties have to be equal in #? If not, would it look weird for the parties to walk down separately? Any ideas?

i don't think it'll look weird, i'm having 1 MOH, 4 bridesmaids, 2 BM, and 6 GM. haven't worked out the details yet, but i'm sure it'll be fine. just have one bridesmaid walk down with two groomsmen.

Fh has alot more good friends than I do... soo I thought of either cutting his side down to match my side... OR having 1 bridesmaid for every 2 groomsmen
I would ultimately like to have an equal #, but if I cant I will have the MOH and BM walk together and then 2 GM for every 1 BM if that makes sense!

it'll be fine. My numbers are lopsided too just because FH has all brothers...and I only have 1 sister...and I didn't want to get into the 'if I choose this girl, then I have to choose that girl' thing amongst my girl friends. So i'm just going with my sister and my best friend. FH has 4 guys on his side.

right now i have 7 and steve has 4 lol we willprob end up 1 short and i have 2 MOH so 1 will walk out alone or if we are 2 short they will both walk in alone and then they will both walk out with the BM if the aise is wide enough

Were lopsided too! My FH has 6 guys and I have 4 girls. We were even numbered at first because idealy I think thats what everyone wants, but FH ended up adding another guy and I ended up dropping a girl so now were left with the 6:4. Im not worried about it though...i think 2 of the girls will just walk with 2 guys rather than one. We'll see though, havent really worked it out yet.

we will have a lopsided party as well. FH has asked 4 so far.. 1BM and 3GMs .. I have 1Matron 1MOH and 5 girls with 1 more to ask (havent seen her yet). So we will figure it out..sure it will be fine.
My question is what are all the uneven parties doing for the reception entrance..any thought put into that yet? Still doing 2-1 or 2BMs at a time? 2GMs? etc?? what are your opinions?????

No worries! We are lopsided too....we have 4 girls and 6 guys!! I figured Id just double up the guys to each girl walking down the aisle if I have to. We even have a ring bearer , but no flower girl

i have a MOH, BM, 2 JBM, and a FG FH has... 2 BM and a RB
i have no idea how they'll walk out but to set up the church the guys will already be with FH up at the alter and then the girls will each walk in by themselves.

It doesn't have to be even. I am such an advocate for only asking people who are important to you. I don't think you should just ask people to ask them.

You can have 2 guys escort one girl (twice..which utilizes 4 guys and 2 girls) and have the BM walk alone. Do you have a MOH or is she one of the 2 girls?
