Good Show last night. I wonder who the guy is at the end in the suit that Jack saw.

All I have to say is WOW! A round of applause to JJ Abrams for yet another great hour of television. I did not see it coming about Locke. I really liked the development of his backstory.

I thought it was a great episode! I wasn't realy into Lost at first, but they've totally sucked me in.

what a twist, guy starts to walk again after plane crash... but there is def. something wrong with him, who was he talking to over the phone, a sex line or something?

I know, that was so crazy that he can walk again. Seems like the island has some sort of magical powers? I did think it was a sex line- seems so sad. I just wanted to kill hiss boss when they showed the flashbacks. What a DIC*

I am also curious now what he saw, I mean he has seen the monster but it didnt kill him, hmmm

That was totally odd. I cannot believe that he could move his toes after sitting in a wheel chair for most of his life, or all of his life.

His boss reminded me of the boss from Office Space.

Whatever he saw killed that boar. I don't think Locke killed it. And if this is his miracel, his time and destiny, I don't know if Locke will be too eager to leave that island.

He was definitely talking on a sex-line to HELEN.

I'm really curious about Sayeed. I know he said he was part of the Iraqi Republican Guard, but I think that he may of been in Australia due to political asylum or something.

Again, I can't wait for the next episode!

This show is sooo good!

The way they built Lockes character was great. In the beginning when we saw him at work & then on the phone with the phone sex operator, I remember thinking, what a loser, but then when we found out he was paralized I felt so bad for him & I was so touched and got the chills when at the end they showed the scene of him wiggling his toes.

I can't wait for next weeks episode, I want to know who that man in the suit that keeps diappearing is!

Okay me and DH came up with an idea about what is going on last night....

We think that for some reason this island allows people to enact out their fantasys....i.e. Locke is able to walk again. As for the others we are all still trying to figure it out but I think Jack (the Doctor) either was barred from practicing medicine or was having serious issue (remember him drinking on the plane). That guy he sees i think he can only see and that guy has something to do with his issues....the little boy Walt sees the Polar Bear in the comic book and it comes to life and his dad agrees to search for his dog when it stops raining out which it does almost immediately. This is where i think it is going to....ALSO has anyone noticed the weird names of these people...

Walt (Walt Disney), Sawyer (Tom Sawyer), Boone (was a famous guy). I think there is something there...

I am sooo addicted to this show!!!

I think the guy in the suit and the white tennis shoes was jacks father. If not then it has to be someone from his past.

Also I agree that the creature probably killed the boar.....

hey one more thing - remember when the black lady (i forget her name) said that her husband is not dead - she said, the people that were in the back of the plane are prob on the other side of the island are thinking the same thing about them - ?

what do you think?

why dont they go around the island and explore? I mean I want to know more

As i said before i think they are all on this island and now their fantasies are possible coming true.

Locke walking
Jack (who i think is an alcoholic doctor who killed by accident a patient) can be a hero doctor to these people
Kate is free
The father of Walt can form a relationship with his son which he probably could not in the real world
Walt fantasies about comic books

The other ones i have yet to figure out. I also can't figure out if these people are actually dead and are living in a kind of waiting area to heaven to resolve their issues first.

You have to watch the show very carefully there are a lot of things that you catch on after teh show is over for example:

The guy in the suit is wearing tennis shoes, i am sure there is a reason for this

Locke the rocker had LATE written on the tape on his knuckles and now it says FATE

One of hte characters says in one of the first episodes 'they all died three days ago'

None of the characters who climbed up the mountain to get a signal told the others about the mysterios Fench Woman's voice they heard....

The polar bear picutre in the comic book after the kill the polar bear.

Just some ideas i have...
